Pasir Ris & Loyang
巴西立游泳课程
Coaching for toddlers, school-age children and adult beginners, matched to the learner’s age, confidence and schedule.
For families in Pasir Ris, Loyang, Elias and the northern edge of Tampines who want coached lessons close to home, at a public pool we confirm with you before you book.

A seaside town where swimming is a real life skill
Pasir Ris sits right on the north-eastern coast. Families here spend weekends at Pasir Ris Park and the beach, cycle the park connectors, and often holiday near water. That makes confident, safe swimming more than a hobby for children growing up in the area. The public pool most residents think of is Pasir Ris Swimming Complex, part of the sports centre in Pasir Ris Central near Pasir Ris MRT, the eastern end of the East-West Line. We confirm the exact pool for your lessons when we reply.
One point worth stressing for coastal families: being able to swim in a pool is not the same as being safe in open water. Currents, waves, murky water and cold shock change everything. A coach can introduce floating, treading water and calm breathing, but please treat the sea with caution even after lessons. Our SwimSafer page explains Singapore’s national water-safety programme, which covers survival skills as well as strokes.
Programmes Pasir Ris families ask about most
- Toddler lessons for ages 2 to 4, in short 30-minute sessions that keep little ones engaged.
- Kids’ lessons for ages 5 to 11, covering water confidence, kicking, breathing and the main strokes.
- Adult lessons for anyone aged 12 and above, from complete beginners to swimmers who want better technique.
- Lessons for learners who need additional support, following a suitability discussion.
Compare all package prices on the 收费页面. For example, adult four-lesson packages are $320 for one-to-one or $200 per person for two learners sharing a coach.

On the day
Transport. Pasir Ris MRT and the bus interchange beside it make the town centre easy to reach from Loyang, Elias and Pasir Ris West. If you drive, check parking arrangements at the venue beforehand, as weekend car parks near the town centre can fill up.
Timing. Weekend mornings are the busiest period at most public pools. Arrive early enough to pay admission and change, so the lesson starts on time.
Kit list. Swimwear, goggles, a towel, a water bottle and, for young children, a swim nappy if needed. A small snack after the lesson helps hungry children.
Closures. Outdoor pools close for lightning, and facilities have maintenance days. Check the official ActiveSG 泳池目录 before travelling, and agree the make-up arrangement with us before you pay.
Supervision
A coach supervises the learner during the lesson only. Parents and guardians remain responsible for children before and after class, and in any other water.
Questions from Pasir Ris parents and adult learners
Will lessons definitely be at Pasir Ris Swimming Complex?
Not necessarily. We confirm the pool after checking coach availability. If Pasir Ris is not available, we may suggest a nearby option such as a pool in 淡滨尼.
Will lessons prepare my child for swimming at the beach?
Lessons build pool skills and water confidence. They do not make a child safe to swim unsupervised in the sea. Always swim in designated areas under close adult supervision.
Can two siblings share one coach?
Yes, if they are at a similar level. A one-to-two kids’ package is $190 per person for four lessons.
We live in a Pasir Ris condo with a pool. Can the coach come to us?
Possibly, if your management allows external coaches. See 公寓游泳课程.
Is pool admission included?
No, unless we say otherwise in writing. Public pool entry is normally paid separately.
