Tell us your block or nearest MRT station, the learner’s age and ability, and your free times. We will suggest an option that keeps travel short.
The former Toa Payoh Swimming Complex is closed for redevelopment, so we do not hold lessons there. If you live in Toa Payoh, Braddell or Kim Keat, we help you find a practical alternative pool nearby, or lessons at your own condominium pool where permitted.

Important: the Toa Payoh pool is closed
Toa Payoh Swimming Complex is closed and no lessons take place at the former facility. Some websites and old directory listings still mention it, so please do not travel there for a lesson. Check the official ActiveSG 泳池目录 for current public pools, opening hours and closure notices.
Where Toa Payoh learners can swim instead
Toa Payoh is well connected, with Toa Payoh and Braddell stations on the North-South Line and Caldecott on the Circle and Thomson-East Coast lines. That makes several neighbouring towns reachable in a short ride. Depending on where you live and when you are free, we may suggest:
- A pool to the north, for households closer to Braddell. Our 宏茂桥 page explains how we choose a venue in that area.
- A pool to the south-east, for households near Lorong 1 to 8 or the Kallang side. See 加冷坝.
- Your condominium pool, if management permits external coaches. See 公寓游泳课程.
We will confirm the exact venue, coach and slot before you pay. Nothing on this page means lessons are guaranteed at any particular pool.
Lessons available to Toa Payoh residents
- 幼儿游泳课程: ages 2–4, 30 minutes.
- 儿童游泳课程: ages 5–11, 45 minutes, including water-safety skills relevant to SwimSafer.
- 成人游泳课程: ages 12 and above, 45 minutes.
- 私人游泳课程 for learners who want one-to-one attention.
All packages are four lessons. Prices for each programme and group size are on our fees and rates page.

Making a longer trip work
Travelling to another town for lessons is manageable with a little planning:
- Pick a slot that fits around school or work, not one that needs a rush across town.
- Pack the night before: swimwear, goggles, towel, sunscreen, water, and a swim nappy for toddlers.
- Leave ten minutes extra on the first visit to find the entrance, pay admission and change.
- Check the venue’s hours and maintenance day before setting off.
安全与看护
Lessons pause for lightning alerts and follow lifeguard instructions. A coach-led lesson does not replace parent or guardian supervision outside the scheduled class, and no course makes anyone drown-proof.
Questions from Toa Payoh families
Will the Toa Payoh pool reopen?
Redevelopment plans are announced by the authorities, not by us. Check official sources for updates. This page will be revised if lessons become possible at a new facility.
Which alternative pool is closest to me?
It depends on your block. Send us your postal code area or nearest MRT station and we will suggest options.
Is a condo pool lesson cheaper?
Coaching prices follow the same package rates; what changes is travel and venue access. Confirm permission with your management first.
Can my children share a lesson?
Yes, if their ability and goals are similar. A pair or small group lowers the cost per person.
