Booking Terms and Conditions

Lessons booked through Singapore Swimming Lessons are provided by Swim2u Pte. Ltd. (Swim2u Swim School). The governing terms are Swim2u’s full Terms and Conditions. This page summarises the points that most often affect a booking so you can read them before you pay. If this summary and the full terms differ, the full terms apply. Please ask us about anything that is unclear before booking.

付款

• Fees are paid before the first lesson of each package or cycle.
• Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Only pay after your coach, venue, lesson time, group size and price have been confirmed. See how payment works.

Withdrawing

• At least one month’s notice is required if a student wishes to withdraw.

Group lessons (2 or more learners)

• There are no refunds, compensation or make-up lessons for absence, lateness or cancellation.
• Lessons are held once a week, and a package must be completed within 4 weeks. Lessons not taken in that period are forfeited.
• A student who misses 4 or more lessons may lose their place in the class.
• A class start date may be postponed, or classes of a similar level merged, if the minimum class size is not met.
• Students provide their own swimwear, goggles, cap and kickboard.

Private lessons (1 learner)

• Time lost through late arrival is not made up.
• Same-day or last-minute cancellations are not accepted.
• A lesson can be cancelled with at least 1 day’s notice only with a valid medical certificate. The make-up lesson is then arranged with the coach, based on the coach’s schedule.
• Private packages must be completed within 4 weeks. Lessons not taken in that period are forfeited.

Weather and safety

• The coach or pool operator may cancel or stop a lesson in bad weather for safety reasons. A lesson that has started and is then stopped because of rain is counted, with no make-up lesson.
• Lessons can continue in light drizzle. Please attend unless you have been told the lesson is cancelled, and contact the coach if the weather is uncertain.
• Tell the coach before the lesson if the learner is unwell or has a medical condition that may affect participation.

Condo and private pools

• You are responsible for making sure the coach can enter the pool at the scheduled time. If the coach is refused entry by condo security or management, the lesson is counted as conducted.
• Any deposit or fee the condominium’s management (MCST) charges for external coaching is paid by the client. We can provide the information management usually asks for.

Photos, videos and contact details

By providing your contact details or attending classes, you consent to Swim2u Pte. Ltd. using them, and photos or videos recorded during classes, as described in the full terms. If you have concerns about photos or videos of the learner, raise them with us before the first lesson. See our privacy policy for how personal data is handled.

Liability

The full terms limit Swim2u’s liability for injury, loss or damage arising from attendance at lessons. Please read that section of the full Terms and Conditions before booking.
