Important update: Kallang Basin ActiveSG Swimming Complex, at 21 Geylang Bahru Lane, closed on 1 September 2025 after its lease expired, according to Sport Singapore and the ActiveSG facility page. We therefore cannot offer lessons at that pool. This page is for families in the Geylang Bahru, Kallang Bahru, Bendemeer and Whampoa area who are still looking for coached lessons nearby.

The Sport Singapore announcement named Serangoon, Geylang East and Jalan Besar ActiveSG swimming complexes as nearby alternatives, and a new sport-in-precinct facility in Kolam Ayer. How lessons work
Toddler lessons are 30 minutes (ages 2 to 4); kids (5 to 11) and adults (12 and above) get 45 minutes. All packages are four lessons. One-to-one suits anxious beginners; pairs suit siblings or friends; small groups cost less per person. Current prices are on the fees page.
Your first lesson
The first session is an assessment of water entry, breathing and floating, followed by goals for the package. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early with swimwear, goggles, towel and water.
