SwimSafer Stage 4 is the Bronze stage, focused on personal survival and stroke-improvement skills after the three foundational stages.
Bronze Skill Areas
Participants work on efficient movement and strokes alongside personal survival, rescue, entries, underwater work, and knowledge components defined by the current syllabus.
Timed or Distance Components
Use the current official manual for exact distances, sequences, time limits, and must-see criteria. Do not rely on older summaries or isolated benchmark claims.
Preparation
A coach can assess current strokes, endurance, survival skills, and knowledge before recommending priorities. Appropriate SwimSafer credentials must be verified.
Assessment
Official assessment registration, validation, theory, practical requirements, and certification are separate from ordinary lesson booking.
Verify Current Requirements
Use the official SportSG SwimSafer page for the current syllabus, instructor credentials, registration, CAMS, theory quiz, assessment, and certificate rules. Official information takes precedence over this summary.
